Like a princess for a day

Even though I’m writing this one year later after my rental experience, it is still a fresh and beautiful memory. I had just moved to France 5 months before my wedding date and I didn’t know anything about where to get wedding apparel. It was such a relief to find this rental service. I first spent a lot of time on the online catalog – it is neatly organised, informative and up-to-date regarding what has already been reserved. Being able to do this in my own time at home greatly enhanced the experience at the shop, where most of the dresses I tried on were already a close fit. (This is not often the case when going into other shops where a lot of time is spent looking at sizes that are available for you!) My friends advised me to try on a variety of styles, even ones that I don’t necessarily think are good fits for me, because you never know once you put it on. Towards the end, I had 3 dresses to choose from that I loved for different reasons. I’m thankful for the comfortable atmosphere and kind hospitality that allowed me to choose without pressure. Despite the size of the dress, I was able to move around easily, but I would like to warn that it can feel heavy after several hours, since we’re not used to wearing these kinds of dresses usually.
